Business is Booming!

This is my little brother. He's on the football team this year.
I think he's too young, and I worry about him.
I pray he loves it and doesn't get hurt.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly two weeks since I have updated!
I can honestly say I have not been this busy in a long time.
Three to four photo shoots a day, work, followed up by planning
school and preparing to move have left me mentally
and physically exhausted..
On a lighter note my photography business has expanded so much!
I'm looking forward to what the future holds with me and my business.

Sweet little Carly. So adorable!

How cute is little Miss Ashley Marie!

Forever Could Never Be Long Enough to Feel Like I Have Had Long Enough With You..

Love can make you do some crazy things. It can make us lose sleep at night and have butterflies in our tummies, but yet the intoxication of love is something we all desire for.
Even though it may hurt sometimes.
Whether it be in from something earthly or heavenly.
But nothing can compare to an unconditional type of love
a love that can come from none other than our heavenly Father.

Time keeps ticking away as summer is quickly drawing to a close.
And school is yet again on my heels. yipeee

So my trip down to the coast and Louisiana was filled with excitement
and adventure. I had no idea some people could get so serious about
walking on a beach. It took us about 2 hours to get onto a beach on Grand Isle.
We were given the whole run around and finally found someone
who knew what they were talking about.
It resembled a war zone. Areas blocked off, helicopters flying over head,
the smell of oil in the air and coast guards and national guards men heavily
guarding the contaminated beach and waters. It's hard to believe
something like this could happen. Cruising around town we spotted several
restaurants closed down and several angry signs posted in yards and
on sides of the roads. If only there was some way I could help.

Photo shoots have been going splendid!
Here is some recent work.
Enjoy :)

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my sweet boyfriend.
He just got his new car today and is surprising me with a date.
I can honestly say I have gotten a little too used to curling up on the couch, cooking mac and cheese and watching the food network with him.
So tonight should be extra special.

I want to leave you all with this.
I came across this the other day.
I must say it is from the sweetest book ever!
It is called "I Like You"
enjoy :)

I like you and I know why.
I like you because you are a good person to like.
I like you because when I tell you something special, you know it's special
And you remember it a long, long time.
You say, Remember when you told me something special
And both of us remembe

I Believe in Blessings

Life has been ultimately busy these past few days.
I must say the photo shoots along with work have definitely taken a toll on me!
But, on the plus side, my new lens came in!!!! I'm beyond floored!
So glad it came in before I take my oil spill adventure with the lovely
Lauren Sue Gandy!
oh... and Lucy. haha
( Just for you Lauren)

I'm thinking this will be a shoot like no other.
I only hope I can capture the true essence of what has taken place
on the beautiful Gulf Coast. The news today that the oil well
may now be capped is a true blessing!
Many people say we will be lucky if this works.
But, I don't believe in luck...only blessings.
Please pray that the efforts
have been a success and no more oil will leak into our beautiful oceans.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.

Here are a few pictures of some more blessings!

Breathtaking!

Finally new photos once again!
There is just something about photographing newborns that takes my breath away.
The innocence just glows from within. From their tiny hands down to their tiny toes,
newborns simply make for the best photo ops!

Today was filled with snapshots of both a precious baby followed up by a senior photo shoot along with an eager brother. I must say I'm pretty proud of myself.

Now tomorrow I will have three shoots with yet another newborn session.
It seems like everyone is having a baby these days.
Needless to say it will be one busy day for me followed by yet another
closing night at the pit. On the bright side, today was payday.
yess :)

I'm doing my best to eliminate my compulsive shopping habits.
The only way I can semi keep it under control
is to stay away from stores and pick something to save up for.
Maybe a cruise to Mexico in November?
Or New Years in New York?
Definitely on my "to save for" list.

Sleep Tight Readers :)

The beautiful Saydee Hope Harris.
She was such a joy to work with, even though she was wide awake through the whole session.

Take Me out to the Ball Game

Tuesday night was absolutely splendid.
A night watching baseball and getting stuffed on ballpark food!
By far my idea of a perfect date night!

Today is a lazy day like all others.
I will be staying cooped up in my cozy room until time for yet another day of work.
I worked a full 11 hours the other day, might I say not my cup of tea,
but it will be worth it when pay day comes around:)

I have so many fun shoots coming up in the next few weeks!
I'm super pumped.
But the one I am most pumped about by far is my documentation shoot
that I will be doing with Lucas Gandy.

We will be spending a full day capturing photos and video of the Gulf Oil Spill.
I'm not too sure yet what to expect, but I cant wait till we take this little adventure!

It's hard to believe that school is upon our heels yet again,
which means that looking for an apartment for Fall 2011
is now on my list of "to do's" along with many other big girl things.
I just wish time would slow down to a snail's pace.

I can't tell you how much it means to be rooming with my "first friend" this fall.
I'm so excited about having Meredith as my roommate.
Can't wait for our shopping date to decorate our dorm room.

OH! and did I mention that in just one week I will be
getting a canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens???
Yesss, I am!! I'm beyond pumped,
and its all thanks to a wonderful lady who wants me to
keep taking photos and pursue my dream!
I can't thank her enough...

Getting knee deep in my new book, Charlie St. Cloud.
Must go read now.
Love all of you! Choose to be happy!!

A Lovely Evening Under the Stars..

Happy after Fourth of July everyone!
I'm hoping everyone's fourth was as fabulous as mine.
Best one by miles!
Our lunch consisted of homemade shrimp po-boys and onion rings. mmmmm:)
and to top my day off I spent the evening with close friends around a fire along with smores and fireworks.

Be sure to check back soon for more photo updates!

Even though its cloudy and thundery the boyfriend is determined to take me to a MS Braves game tonight. Let's hope he at least has a rain plan.

Have a Beautiful evening!
xoxo

Baby Allison Leigh
Not even a week old.

Proud big brother, Will.

Fridaaaaaay is finally here! Yay
Too bad I have to work this evening,
I would rather be taking photos.
So the photo shoots yesterday went smoothly. I was extremely pleased with the outcome.
I look forward to more shoots like this in the near future.

This upcoming week will once again be another week full of photo shoots!
I'm not complaining, I'm very blessed.

Internet shopping has officially become my new best friend over the past few days.
It seems every pay check I get is funneled into my etsy fetish.
I believe internet shopping could very well be a sin.

The one shoot I'm most looking forward to is the post marriage/elopement/engagement
of my beautiful friends, Laura Kate and Chandan Bangar!
I have gotten so much inspiration from http://greenweddingshoes.com/
Everyone should deff give it a look see.
I won't lie, It has really given me the wedding bug.

This little man is Brody. He was the ultimate ham.
I could literally take photos of him all day.
